2012 Sponsorships

In 2008, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reported 41,591 confirmed cases of child abuse on Texas children. You ask, “How can I make a difference in the life of a child?” Champion for Children is a statewide conference designed to offer quality training and information on topics of interest to leaders in child abuse prevention. The Champion for Children committee is planning the 13th Annual Champion for Children conference to be held in Abilene on March 30, 2012.

With your help, we can reach the largest number of community members ever, and can make a difference in the life of a child. By supporting Champion for Children, you will provide quality, up-to-date information and educate various child advocates! Your sponsorship will be recognized in all conference promotional materials, as well as our web site with links to your organization.

Please consider a donation and in return, a receipt will be sent to you for tax purposes.

***For every $250 donated, you can send one person to attend the conference and luncheon free of charge. You can choose to send someone from your organization, or send a child advocate selected by the Champion for Children Conference Committee. A committee member will contact your business prior to March 16, 2012 to obtain information regarding the individual you have selected to attend the conference.
